Website Template
Ins & Outs
-
At Checkout, you’ll be asked to provide the email address associated with your Squarespace account. We’ll share the template with you as a “Contributor.” Once you accept the contributor invitation, you’ll see the template in your account dashboard and you can begin working on it. Also around this time, LiveSimpleDotWork will upgrade you to “Owner” of your site.
You have one year to accept your contributor invite. After that you’ll have to re-purchase your template. It is important to know also that templates are sometimes discontinued.
Once you receive your template, it is entirely your responsibility to modify and publish your site.

LiveSimpleDotWork aims for delivery within three business days of purchase (holidays or natural disasters may cause an additional delay). This turnaround time allows us to make sure your site is up to date with custom code, new Squarespace functions, security settings, etc. If you are concerned about delayed delivery, you are welcome to email: hello@livesimple.work.

Unfortunately, no. To install a template into a pre-existing site is totally possible, but it’s a larger project that requires human effort, expertise, and communication.
If you’re interested in LiveSimpleDotWork updating your site to an LSW template, Jocelyn would be happy to chat. Reach out to hello@livesimple.work.

Once you receive your template in your dashboard, the changes you’ve made are your entirely your responsibility and the template will not be re-delivered.
However, you can duplicate your template as soon as you receive it. It doesn’t cost anything and now you’ve got a back-up. Instructions for duplication are HERE.
-
Refunds and exchanges will be honored only before the site is delivered to your Squarespace dashboard, which generally happens within three business days of purchase. If you’re having second thoughts about your purchase, email hello@livesimple.work immediately.
-
When you receive your template, it will show up in your dashboard as a “trial.” Trials can last up to six months but on the shorter side only two weeks.
If your trial expires, you can extend it. Instructions are HERE.
Trial extensions only last for seven days, but there is no limit to how many times you can extend.
To put an end to the cycle of trial expirations and extensions, purchase a subscription and publish your site! You can do it!

For general Squarespace questions, Squarespace Help Center is going to be your best resource.
You’ll also be provided with a YouTube Video that goes over the specifics of your particular template series, as each series has its own special aspects.
Jocelyn is available for when you are stumped. (Email hello@livesimple.work). Support emails will be returned within three business days of receipt (holidays and natural disasters may delay replies.)
